If at our 3rd anniversary we were celebrating development across multiple verticals (SEO, data, marketing automation, design/UX/UI, programmatic, social media), now we are happy to state that the transition into our fourth year has meant for us the evolution from individual services toward business solutions.
A natural move driven by the increasing digital maturity of businesses and their needs, as well as the validation of the model developed internally at DRA: data -> business solutions -> digital marketing 360.
Just like a team that progresses and innovates by participating in competitions and then applies those findings to develop products for the wider market, our specialists have access to cases, platforms, and specializations with a high degree of complexity and technology. From these, they can extract methods and knowledge to apply in customized digital marketing solutions for various types of companies.
Hence, the division of business solutions shaped by DRA:
- Enterprise: for large organizations with multiple business lines and complex needs (online-offline, consultancy, multiple channels);
- Performance: for “digitally born” businesses (e-commerce, apps) that are focused on agility and immediate results;
- Data-Driven: for organizations looking to accelerate their transformation into a “data-driven organization.”
Looking at our client types and project portfolio, we find confirmation in the fact that we work in over 25 countries across 3 continents, for more than 80 clients including multinational corporations and local businesses, across very diverse verticals: telecom, fintech, retail, apps, e-commerce, real estate, and health.
The year 2021 brought a 69% increase in turnover, reaching 4.8 million euros, and positioned us at 7th place in the top of digital agencies in Romania. Although 2022 seems to be a year under the auspices of economic uncertainty, we are ready to deliver growth solutions for companies that want to strengthen their market position amidst such uncertainty.
As usual, we look toward the future and see it through a trio: professional consultant specialists, adoption of technology/automation, and business solutions for the right cases – based on data. In the world of digital marketing agencies, we aim for a hybrid positioning at the intersection of tech, advertising, and business consultancy.
What we’ve done:
The last year has given us many reasons and occasions to be happy. Regarding the recognition of our merits, we boast being among the top 3% Google Partner agencies in Romania – vanity metrics, here we go!

- Recognition: We participated in the most important industry competitions locally and internationally and were selected again among the best – it seems not only the data shows we are doing well, but the industry does too. A highlight is being shortlisted at IAB MIXX Europe for Best Search Campaign.
- Innovation: Because this is who we are: new media, new techniques, new approaches, new strategies – dynamic ad insertion for online video clips, special and spectacular advertising formats with Teads, an in-house naming tool for performance campaign automation, and a tool for auditing Google Analytics accounts are just a few examples of our cutting-edge projects.
- Client Solutions: We offered solutions for our clients in Romania and abroad: migration to the new Google Analytics 4, collection through server-side Google Tag Manager, automated GA account verification via an in-house tool, and more.
- Consolidation: We consolidated new business units and grew across several verticals: we formed the holistic digital strategy team and created a Survey to help clients estimate their organization’s digital maturity; we have a dedicated department for content marketing, native advertising, and beyond copywriting, branded content, and outreach; we innovated in direct marketing with a communication concept based on customer behavior; we consolidated the social media department and are testing the newest media and communication strategies.
- Partnerships: On the list of partners who help us push performance further, last year we added several strong players: Segment (a leader in customer data platforms), Mixpanel, and Segmentify for e-commerce.
- Security: Nothing without safety (and trust). We became certified at the highest ISO/IEC level in data security, so everyone we work with can rely on us, especially in a context with a pressing need for security.

- Know-how Sharing: We provide original and verified input daily because we want to grow alongside our field. Win-win: our colleagues shared know-how in different contexts and for different audiences – whether at e-commerce events, agency-dedicated events, or for students and future practitioners. We talked about design, UX/UI, and Performance Marketing at Google’s Retail Academy, data tracking in the app ecosystem at Measurement Academy 2021, and data in e-shops at Ecommerce Growth. Because we learn continuously, a team participated in the largest digital advertising event in the world – Ad World 2021..

- Content: In the daily flow we maintain to grow our clients’ businesses, there are few free moments, so we are even happier to have developed the Data Revolt blog. it has already gathered tips & tricks and valuable knowledge about data marketing and our entire ecosystem: editorial materials, client case studies, contextual articles about activations, data, tracking, technicals, and more – all “in-house production.”
- Performance DNA: Performance is in our DNA, and we recognize and help it wherever we find it. We participated in mountain running races to take the Data Revolt spirit to the heights, and we were inspired by a super team of people passionate about adrenaline, speed, and pushing limits. Team BMR is one of the coolest motorcycling teams in Romania, and we are proud of them.

- Community: Regarding our intention to give back, we enjoyed partnerships with great people who support communities and causes we believe in. For example, we played chess for education at Chess4Education 2.0 and helped the NGO “Pisici Pe Creier” (Cats on the Brain) which looks after our furry friends.

As for fun, we enjoyed ourselves in the patented Data Revolt style: with parties, after-hours gatherings on the terrace with wine, gin, and beer; we made memes about GA4, baked cakes, and recognized our colleagues in childhood photos. We celebrated each other, encouraged alternative transport, and kept growing with great and talented people, ready to take the Data Revolt story further than we could imagine separately, but exactly where we can arrive together.
